Mark Wilson Mark carries a military background (USMC) as an infantryman and understands the fundamentals of hard work and discipline. His passion is helping others achieve their goals with attention to detail outlining fundamentals along the way. Mark is a specialist at programming as well as overseeing progress and accountability. Mark has competed in 27 competitions since 2009, some include: NLI, OC Throwdown, Tough Mudders, Spartan Races and recently was part of a team that competed at the 2013 CrossFit Regionals in Del Mar, California. Mark holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering. During his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, reading, and tai chi.

Mark Wilson Axel was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. He has over a decade of sport participation experience including football, baseball, basketball, rugby, olympic weightlifting, and crossfit. Graduate of CSULB with a degree in Kinesiology - Sport Psychology. 4 years of experience (and counting) in personal training and coaching group crossfit classes. Axel's goal is to help clients maximize their fitness potential and performance.

What is NUI Fit?
Nui Functional Fitness is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength-conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind before or after a hectic day.

A typical class can be broken down like this, 10 min of mobilization, stretching, warming up, 20-30 minutes of technique and form with a gymnastic or weight lifting exercise, and 20-30 minutes of a high intensity workout.
